Versatile Chalk Couture Minis

Chalk Couture Mini Transfers

Hey there! If you’ve been hanging out with me and creating for a while, you know I’m obsessed with Chalk Couture. I love how easy it is for me to change up my seasonal and holiday decorations using stencils or transfers and chalk paste.

The smallest chalk projects I made are about 3 inches in size. And these small projects require a small transfer. Now, remember, the smallest transfer Chalk Couture makes is an A size which is 5×7.

However, the mini transfers come in a B size. In the 8×11 sheet you get 9 different designs. How cool is that!? Nine different summer sayings, or 9 different Christmas or Halloween designs. Or motivational designs and Rustic designs too!

Where to Get Chalk Couture Mini Transfers

These amazing mini transfers can only be purchased online or through a Chalk Couture Designer. They do change them up so if you see a design you love, I’d get it while it is available.

9 Different Projects using Chalk Couture Minis

You get nine different transfers on one B size transfer sheet. Here is an example of several different projects you can make with this one transfer.

For these examples, I’ve used the Beautifully Rare Mini Transfer. Try searching “mini” on the chalk couture website to see the latest transfers for different seasons, holidays, and decor styles.

If you’ve never created a project with chalk couture stencils and paste, then please read these instructions on creating with chalk couture.

This design was put on the cover of a writing journal using white paste. You could also put a design on the inside cover – I always like a little surprise when opening a book, don’t you? This would make a great gift for a student or friend.

Using my favorite design from this set, you can chalk a design on a can coozie. This is a neoprene coozie. Ideally, you’d want to use ink on this project and then heat set it. You can find instructions for using ink on fabric in this post.

Talk about an easy fun gift! You probably have a candle sitting on your counter right now that you could add a fun saying or design to. And – you know what’s even cooler? You could change out that design for each holiday or season. So this motivation quote could change to a winter quote or a spring/easter quote or a summertime design. Follow me down the rabbit hole of ideas!

And speaking of gifts. New Mommas love little baby bodysuits! And how cute is this one? It is created with ink on fabric. Again, refer to the instructions for inking on fabric.

Here’s another cute gift tag idea but this is made with a chalk couture chalk chip. These are sold in a set, so you’ll have fun making a few! You’ll want to punch a hole in it using a punch and then add ribbon.

Gift tags are the perfect background for minis also. You’ll want to be sure to “wax” your paper and fuzz your transfer REALLY well so that the stencil will peel off easily. You can use chalk couture wax and spread the wax over the paper before chalking. If you love gift tags, you’ll want to be sure to check out the new Chalk Couture Chalk Suede gift tags. You won’t need to wax them!

Chalk Couture minis are a fun way to decorate a child’s apron also. This one also uses ink and is heat set so it will stay on this cute little apron.

Oh – and how about a makeup bag? This is a plain canvas bag using ink again and heat setting the design. Great gifts for tweens, girlfriends, bridal parties, and even yourself!
