How to Make a Wooden Rustic Round project
This project is so easy to make. You'll want to gather your supplies – including some additional supplies to make sure your project goes well. There is a supply list below the video.
In the spirit of keeping things easy, you'll find all the items you need to create your very own rustic home sign!
Just a note, the 16″ rustic round is trendy and often sells out. Please watch when you click the button to see if any items are out of stock. Lots of these items are extremely popular and tend to sell out, so make sure you grab one while you can!
Also, this kit includes both paste packets and jars. You can delete the jars if you only plan to do this project. Sometimes paste packets sell out but jars are available. You may find you want a mix of jars and packets. I use bright white a lot, so you may want the jar. The project uses 4 paste colors: bright white, eucalyptus, bumblebee, and shimmer melon.
Of course, you are welcome to choose other paste colors if you'd like. Be sure to check out the paste pallet packs and these are color coordinated paste palettes that make designing a breeze!
If you already have a squeegee and a fuzzing cloth, you can simply choose “remove” and it will remove it from your cart.
I did not include transfer trimmers nor the quick dry tool. Both of these are handy tools that are nice to have. You will want to have a good pair of scissors to cut your transfers apart. If you do not have some nice sharp scissors, pick up some transfer trimmers also. Don't forget to mark the backs of your transfer backing sheet.
If you do not have a quick dry tool, a hair dryer can also be used to help speed up the drying time for layered paste designs.
Lastly, the video shows you the important steps for cleaning your transfers also. If you take care of them you can reuse them quite a few times. Board erasers are a necessity for getting your transfers clean easily! If you don't have a board eraser, a commercial cleaning eraser, like a mister clean eraser can be used. I cut mine apart to make them go further.
I have detailed instructions for cleaning transfers as well.
Rustic Home Options
Chalk couture makes it easy to complete this simple project by including everything on one transfer. However, if you want to mix it up and make it different you can. Look at other transfers you can mix and match with this one to make it unique.
